The Wedding Couple (Sam and Dan)

I made a wedding card for a young couple who were recently married.  We missed the wedding unfortunately.  I used the  Lili of the Valley "Wedding Couple" stamp and then water colored it with Distress Inks.  The card is made with scrumptious Melissa Frances papers and her paper ribbon for the embellishment.

Here is a closer look at the paper ribbon I swirled  to make a confetti  flower and then the lacy butterfly below is from my stash.  I used liquid pearls to dot around the card, I just love those.
I used a Bigz spellbinder to create the top of the card and then attached it to  a regular sized card.
I used Melissa Frances stickers to place on the inside of the card.  So cute.

The backside of the card I matched the Melissa Frances paper and the spellbinders shape.

Thank you for looking at my newly made card, Have a great day.

A Magnolia-licious Challenge Card

Hello Ladies,  I am in Rapid City, South Dakota right now at a brand new Hilton with a very happy tummy from the brand new Texas Roadhouse restaurant. Can it get any better!  Really, my hubby and I are taking some time alone and enjoying the Black Hills, so gorgeous out here, it has been a few years since we have been without kids so this is a treat.

I want to enter this card in the Magnolia-licious challenge teal, orange and brown before it gets too late.
I didn't get any time to post before I left so he is patiently waiting for me to quit ignoring him, he is laughing right now about this.

I hope everyone will have a nice fun weekend too. Thank you for looking at my card and I appreciate all of your comments. Kelly

Birthday Gift

My sister-in-law gave me the Copic book, 2 really useful tools and the awesome stamp with my name on it so I can let people know whocreated the card they have.
So sweet!
Useing my new Copic book and now the new Magnolia Ink book I have been practicing, but I need lots more. The both of these books really help create my shading and blending of colors better.  They are both easy to understand thourough instructions, I am so happy to have both books.
Thanks to my lovely, sweet sister-in-law for my gifts and helping me to improve my coloring skills. I am so blessed with my friends and family.

Tilda with a Basket of Apples Easel Card

Another card, yes!!  The boys and their father were out last night making fence for a bigger horse pasture and I had TIME to make a card, sooo happy.  Sure makes a great attitude adjustment.

Here you can see the Sizzix die cut for the leaf I used on both sides, the Doohickey fence and lace border, also the rose ribbon from Tim Holtz.

The top doily is made from Papertrey Ink die and you can see a fuller leaf from Sizzix die.
The sentiment if from Close To My Heart  C1456 Heartfelt Treasures.

The DP paper is The Girls Paperie "Kitch"
Thank you for your kind comments and have a wonderful crafting day.

Tilda Carrying a Flower Pot

I have been BUSY canning potatoes, peaches, pears and salsa.  Then I froze corn and green beans.  I hope my husbands garden gives me a break so I can {make cards} ssshh  no complaining!  We are completely blessed that my husband is a great gardner and puts in a whopper of fruits and vegis for us to feast on all winter long.  It has been very time consuming though and hard on the old body.  LOL

I snuck a card in and forgot to keep track of the things I used on it so I am sorry about that.
So Here is my one moment of relaxing playtime, hope  you like it as I am a bit rusty on card making.

So FINALLY here is the card, I had camera, internet and now computer problems so thankfully I was able to upload.  Boy I sure need to review our electronics around here.  Sorry about the blurry photo or 2 but I am working on a better situation, $$$$$$
Thank you for stopping by.
