Sweet Christmas Dreams in Snowflakes

Cannot get enough of these girls

 I used Distressed Ink and glittered snowflakes  to put around her.
I stamped a Christmas sentiment that I had for years on the back and then mounted Tilda on the top with dimensionals.  The paper is last years from Fancy Pants.
 Stickled the edges and a few vague snowflakes are stamped on the background inside and outside of the card.  She is just so fun to color and admire.   I think it is because I have 6 boys and 1 girl so I really like the sweetness of the Maggies.
Thanks for all the nice comments you leave me, I appreciate them

My First Sweet Christmas Card

I am in Maggie heaven with my new stamps.  I love them, they are so sweet no matter how bad you color them.  I have been through quite a few images before getting them right. Practice makes perfect you know.

 I need to find new watercolor paper! I used distressed inks which I love to use, but the paper balls up and is hard to blend so it was a challenge to get her the way I wanted.
 The tree is from Sizzix and I glittered it.
 The snowflakes, heart and other shapes are from the Cricut cartridge Art Philosophy. My flowers are from Websters.  I do not know the name of the paper, sorry about that, I got garbage happy and cannot find it.
Thank you for stopping by to see my first Christmas card for this year. I am so excited to make more of these little darlings.

Tilda with a Flowerpot

No Cartridge this time, just Magnolia Doohickeys and Marianne Creatables.

Copics:: Dress B91, 95, 97
Coat:: E31,42,43
Hair:: 100 C0,C05, C07
Pot:: YR 12, 14,24
Flowers:: R30, 32, 43
Leaves:: G94, 99
Skin:: E00, 11, R20
The DP is from Adorn it the Daisy Dew Collection

I believe this is the first time in quite a while that I colored with Copics very well. My shading is slowly getting better and I was able to get the colors to blend.  Kinda proud of myself.

Yesterday was my daughter's 18th birthday and we took the whole family and her beau out to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner. MMMM
She is currently in college for Firefighting, EMT and eventually a Paramedic.  Now as a little curly haired shy blond growing up, I would have never thought this is the path she would take as a career.
She is a awesome child of God and we are proud to be her parents!

Thanks for looking today, have a great weekend,
Happy creating, Kelly

Circle of Hearts Tilda

 The card shape and doily is from Art Philosophy cricut cartridge.  Designer Paper is from Lost and Found "Blush."
 The flowers are Prima and the Pink Sprigs are from Melissa Frances.  I punched the butterfly from a Martha Stewart punch.  I do have a few punches left after selling out most of them because of this new Cricut cartridge. FUN!
 I used Distressed Inks Spun SugarBlack Soot, Tumbled Glass and Walnut Stain. I am still searching for a good Watercolor paper. The are either too grainy and the colors are not vibrant or my inks bleed easily. If anyone has any suggestions for me, I would appreciate them.
Another attempt to get my 3 year to sleep in his bed. He is obsessed with John Deere Tractors and now that it is cold out we want him to use blankets but he hates them.  I brought home a sleeping bag and a tractor with some bribery he has to stay put inside the sleeping bag to keep the tractor.  Day 3 and so far he is sleeping in it all night with his toy tractor.  YES!! I am getting sleep.
My daughter-in-law is his favorite person so she is helping him acclimate to his new sleeping bag, she is so tiny that I told her if this didn't work she would be sleeping with him in his bed! LOL
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day!!

Life is Better With You In It

A more soft and girlie Maggie card.

 The keys are made from Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and so are the rolled flowers, swirls and banners.
 The butterflies are a stamp from Stampinup and I used Distress Inks on watercolor paper.
 The sentiments on the banner to the right are from Papertrey Ink, Flourish.

I used Pink Paislee DP and I think I like this one the best out of the cards I created this weekend. I have one left to show you but I will do it another day.
Thanks, Kelly

Kindness Matters Tilda

I am having so much fun with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge that I purchased from Rosie at Rosemary Creations.   Then my family have been leaving me alone to create the whole weekend. So sweet of them.
 The shape on the card was inspired by the DP paper already cut and then the ARt Philosophy cartridge had the shape on it so I used it to cut all the layers.
 The butterfly is from the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge  and the Kindness Matters stamp is from Stampiup. I used Tim Holtz banner die cut for the sentiment.
 I used Distressed ink black soot and spun sugar to color Tilda. I used liquid pearls to accent the image.
 The inside of the card using the DP paper, it doesn't have a name and I do not know what it is.
Thank you for sharing in my joy of making cards.
Happy creating.

I thought the morning sun would enhance the card since it is so Autumn and has the earths colors on it.  I am using the Art Philosophy cartridge from Close To My Heart again, and today as I told my husband, watch football hunny!!

 I have a mixture of companies on this card, Prima paper, Websters Pages accents, Mellissa Frances accents and everything is cut from the Cricut cartridge.

 The inside is a little plain as I had hurry for Church. I love going to church as we have a new Priest, he is true and faithful to God and the Bible, so hard to find them these days.
 Another card I made with the Art Philosophy Cartridge from Cricut, took me 2 minutes!  Cut out the 6x6 Webster Papers and attached the Webster Pages Ribbon and Stamped Happy Birthday with a Stamp from Close to My Heart, that is part of the cartridge and Done!

 Above shows the card open and below is the backside. It is all paper.

Thank you for your sweet comments, have a sunny Autumn Day

A Dreamy Birthday Card

 Thanks to Rosie from Rosemarys Creations Blog who happens to be a awesome Close to My Heart Consultant, I purchased Cricut's Art Philosophy cartridge.  It makes EVERYTHING!

You can only buy this cartridge through a Close To My Heart consultant and I recommend Rosie because she is so kind and efficient and my order arrives quickly and perfectly.  This cartridge is awesome and has everything or shape I need for making cards, or scrapping. I sold a lot of punches and dies that were taking up extra room because I do not need them.  I now have extra money to buy more!! LOL

I used this Art Philosphy, Close to my Heart stamp, Papertrey Ink dies to make this card.  The best thing is the Magnolia Image, Tilda Holding A Balloon.
 The DP is from Melissa Frances and I used Copics to color Tilda::BG10,11,23,32  G20,  C0,03, E31,33,35,53 and E000,11, R20.
 The ice cream cone is a die from Papertrey Ink and one of their ideas, you cut multiple layers in a tissue or crepe paper (mine is from Melissa Frances) and sew the middle and it fans out 3-D.
 Behind Tilda is a doily from Art Philosophy and then Guaze that I shredded a bit for softness.
 I made a tag from Art Philosophy and used Papertrey Inks die to make the mini tags.
Today while I make cards, my husband and kids are outside enjoying a crisp day when a Bantam Chicken hatched her chicks.  They are watching the birth of 12 eggs and they brought one to me to share.

Isn't it so cute, fresh from the egg!  Thank you for stopping by my blog today, have a nice weekend.
