Thank you to my generous Friends

Cami sent me all kinds of flowers is different shapes and sizes.  They are plastic and see through so there are many options to use them.
Rosie sent me blog candy that I won from her, the DP from MME is my favorite.  I received other really cool things but I will have to show you as I use them along the way.

My helper wanted those flowers in the worse way so I let him have 1 and he wanted it attached to his tractor.  This kept him happy while I made my card.

Here is the Valentine card I made using both of their gifts.  I just received my new Sweet Crazy Love Stamps too.
On top behind Tilda are the plastic flowers and I paired them with Magnolia Doo-hickey die flowers and a glitter pearl from my stash.  Tilda is mounted on spellbinders ovals and I edged her with Distressed Ink.
I colored her with Copics and I actually wrote them down this time.
E-07, 09, 19, 37, 30, 31, 33, 000, 21 & R20

Out of a partial flower and partial doo-hickey I made a butterfly.
and here is another flower stacked with plastic flower, doo-hickey, plastic flower, doo-hickey and brad.

Inside the card I put a craft envelope and made Hearts with Valentine words on them.  When you open the envelope they are falling out for your loved one to read.

Here is the envelope closed up with the sweet Valentines securely inside.

Multiple sentiments and stamps are used on the open side of the card.  The main sentiment is from the New Sweet Crazy Love Collection. "You've Stolen My Heart! be my Valentine will you?

Here is the complete inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed the card as I had fun making it.
Have a great Week and Happy Crafting

Magnolia-licious Highlites Project

OK Don't laugh, I do not know what it is but I am using it for a Valentines Decoration.
I started this as a box for a treat, then I messed up and the paper was upside down so I thought well I will just build up on it and see what happens.  I just kept adding things, trying out different skills.
I am still laughing at myself!

It has a octagon base and Tilda is upright with a accordion fan behind her.  Then I surrounded her with flowers in the front for more stability.  3 side are decorated and lace trims the bottom and top.

Here is a close up of another challenge that I chose to do, color her black and white.  This is harder than it looks as I do not have a complete set of Copics in the C tones.  I am pleased with how she turned out.

Here are flowers at her feet, every women should have flowers at our feet!  I used my LAST clear heart CAMI and used the edge to enhance the flower tops and the full clear heart lays on Tilda's right side standing up.  There is a red heart pin that I tied whimsy string onto.

Here is a better photo of the clear heart, pin and accordion trimmed in black lace.

On the middle side I tucked in a magnolia do-hickey tag into a half doily die.  I stamped a mini Tilda and tried to color her with Copics, same colors of black and white but I really struggle with the Mini, they are hard to get the details without overdoing it. Then I have charms on the ribbon of the tag.  Below is a accordion flower and clear rose for the middle.

A view of the right side with a red heart doily and "Be My Valentine" sentiment from Paper Trey Ink with a chipboard tag and a heart of words that I cut out from the DP.

Left side view of White doily with a cut out word heart and a small accordion tag.  You can really see the clear heart shapes lay on the flowers in this angle.

A closer look at the outline of the plastic heart on top of the flowers

Just thought I would see what it looked like against my shelf.

So many details but it was fun to create this box top, I am not sure what to call it, (Valentine Decoration)?

I want to enter this creation project into the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Sweet Crazy Love blog hop.  There are absolutely GORGEOUS cards from the DT on this blog hop.

Thank you for checking out my creation. Hope you have a sweet day!

Challenge with the Colors of Pink, White, and Red

Oh this one was easy, I was already working on another Valentines Easel Card when the new Challenge on Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog, The Challenge is to use Pink, White and Red on your card.

Tilda with Hearts is colored with Copics. I used Spellbinders dies to mount her on.

The top is crimped craft paper that I painted cream onto and let dry. Then I used a key hole from Melissa Frances and a ribbon I have had 4-ever, it just never runs out.

For the bottom I used a gathered pink ribbon and then put velvet ric rak on top of it. I die cut the flowers and rolled them and put them with a leaf die. To the left is a button heart and a heart from a pin to give it dimension.

For the inside of the easel I made 2 doohickey dies and used the Pebbles stickers for the sentiment. They are supposed to look wrinkled. Then I added a heart button.

The paper is from Pebbles, I just love their new Valentine paper this year.

Thank you for stopping by today, I enjoy everyone's comments and I appreciate them.
Thank you, Kelly

Challenge Card with Kraft Paper

Hi everyone, I have a few people that buy my cards, but they prefer more simple and not so decorative cards.  So I combined their preference with this challenge from
Magnolia Stamp Lovers Blog
Use a Magnolia image with kraft paper so here is my card:

The kraft paper is from Stampinup and the Kraft Tag is from Pebbles. I edged the tag with Concord Crush and the card with Vintage Photo ink.  I liked this paper from Fancy Pants "Windy Day" because of the doilies and colors, very springy.

I received a free stamp from PaperTrey Ink and I used it on the tag and the inside of the card. I like the swirls around the sentiment. I stickled the edge so it showed off the swirls better.

Here is the complete free stamp from PaperTrey Ink here.  All I had to do was place my order with them, I was pleasantly surprised to see it.  They have awesome stamps too.

Thank you for viewing my Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge Card!

First 2012 Valentines Card for Challenges

This year I am going to enter more challenges, want to have a little fun here.
I am using last years "So Special Collection" Tilda with Many Hearts and Scattered Heart together with my new favorite papers from Pebbles, With Love.

I used Stampinup Rose Red and Distress Ink Vintage Photo to edge my images.  The edges along the side of the card and doily are cut using the Cricut cartridge "Art Philosophy" from Close To My Heart.
Below I used a chipboard piece from my stash and stamped a swirly Magnolia Heart onto it.

It is hard to see but there is a clear heart frame that goes part way around Tilda and the Scattered Heart.
I colored her with topic markers.

The tags on the inside of the easel card are from Magnolia and the bottom one is Pebbles along with the sentiment. Those coordinate with the DP from Pebbles that I am using.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges:
7 Kids Challenge Blog #38 Try Something New
Simply Magnolia Challenge Celebrate Challenge,  mine is Love
Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog January 2012 Challenge Anything Goes
Thank you for your generous comments when you stop by my blog. Have a beautiful weekend!
