Little Miss Muu Muu and the Olds

Hi Everyone, I have been making various cards and today I decided on a Magnolia.  I distressed ink Miss Muu Muu with Edwins Oldsmobile for a manly birthday card.  It is supposed to be?

Across the top are the butterflies from Tim Holtz and the side is a mini bag from Canvas Home Basics stamped it and then put a Magnolia doohickey tag inside it.  The flowers on the right are Magnolia doohickey's also.  I put some cream lace along the bottom of the card.  I know this is supposed to be a manly card but girl embellishments are so much more fun!

A Closer look at the bag and tag, The design on the tag is another sheet of Printery and then I cut out flowers, circles and their emblem of a letter, happens to be my husbands and it is his birthday this weekend, also is one of my son's too, they share the same date.

In the middle of the Magnolia Doohickey flowers I put a metal flower and brad, I have these forever and never think about using them.

The inside shows the Prima "Printery" paper I used for this card and and another Magnolia Flower.

Tag with Tilda Sending Love Letter

I made a tag for TOMIC Challenge today and this is what I came up with

Tilda is colored in Copics and Spellbinders romantic rectangles surround her.  My DP is from Echo Park "Be Mine" and the gorgeous dark gray ribbon is a Bloomie from Webster's Pages.

You can see the Magnolia tag and Magnolia doohickey flower I put on it, in the center is a pink Prima flower and I die cut some leaves also.  I adorned everywhere with gray pearls.

It is difficult to see but underneath the Magnolia lace doohickey is a layer of lace I found at a garage sale, the addition of lace made it more frilly.

I would like to enter the tag into the following challenge.
Thank you for the very sweet comments you have been leaving me the past few days.  I have a lot of catching up to do with everyone so I will be by your blogs to see your awesome works of art!

Flip Flop Tilda Floating In Her Oyster

Soft and wavy as she floats in the ocean.....I wanted to try out Tim Holtz Scrollwork die as a wave so this was the perfect scene.

Magnolia papers are the main attraction here, even the waves are Magnolia.  I dotted liquid pearl for added fun and two corner dies from Whimsy.  The bottom ribbon is from Joann's.
Inside show's how pretty the DP are and a memory box die in the corner to accent.
It is very are to see in my photo's, I just need a better camera, any ways, I distressed the edges on the front of the card, both the card stock and DP so I could enter the following challenge.  After distressing, I used Sahara Sand from SU to put a little color on and it made it look more blended with the theme.

Thanks for peaking in again!

Tilda With Floating Hearts

AAHH new day, new attitude, happy and relaxed and so I made myself something.  This tag has all the elements I like, a Magnolia image, romantic papers, pearls, flowers, ribbons and tags.  I wanted it a bit shabby chic also.

She is so darling and lovable.  I colored her in Distressed Inks, Peeled paint, Old paper, Vintage photo, corduroy and Tumbled glass with Stormy sky around her.  She is mounted on a Spellbinders Floral oval die.  Some gauze under her and the DP is The Girls Paperie.

The tags are Magnolia and embellished with pearls and wrinkled ribbon.  I put some flowers in the corners of my tag.

The sentiment came from Papertrey Ink and then I used Tim Holtz Tattered banners die for the sentiment and added a few pearls.  The card and banner are edged in vintage photo.

The other side has another Magnolia tag with a prima flower, gauze and Melissa Frances acrylic charm. You can see the colors of the wrinkled ribbons I put at the top of the tag where it is open like a handle.

I would like to enter my tag into the following challenges:

Thank you for stopping in on this awesome day!

A White and Black Wedding Card

I saw the new challenge at The Shabby Tea Room and had to make a card, for it.
I have so really pretty looking jewels from our local craft store that fit their theme Diamonds are a girls best friend. Oh Yeah!

I used Tim Holtz musical notes cuttlebug folder for the background and a black and white ribbon to fold for the header. The sentiment is on a spellbinders die and heart doily with bling all around it.  Then I rolled gray satin ribbon and a white tulle ribbon to make some flowers with pearls in them.

The inside I added the sentiment from SU and used stickler to highlight it with heart bling. On the corner is another satin rolled ribbon flower.
I am entering this card into the following challenge.

Thank you for peaking!

Rose Scent Tilda

Hi Everyone, another quickie, I had the card almost done. All I had to do is color Rose Scent Tilda in Copics and add a few embellies and done.

I added the chipboard dragonfly from Pink Paislee and some flowers from various vendors. The punch along the side is from Martha Stewart.  Along the edges are Liquid Pearls but they were spitting out and so I had to fix a few. My fingers were pearlized.

This one is very garden like so I am going to enter it into a challenge.

Thank you for stopping in, there are more cards coming, on another roll this weekend trying to create 100 by August 17th, only have 32 done!
Thanks Kelly

My Ballerina's

I have been chasing this little cutie around waiting for her to become available, she sells out right away. Now I have her and I colored Tilda in Ballet shoes with Distressed Inks many times.

Here are the cards I made of Tilda in Ballet Shoes and now each one individually for a closer look.
This one is gray and lavender in Pion Papers.

MME papiers and some fun ribbon and tulle made this easel card unique. I looked at the paper with the starburst and mimicked it with the tulle and then put Tilda on it, she is popped out a bit.

Here is the lovely Glitz papers and I fringed the side for a curtain look like she would be performing.

This one is from my scraps in my box, I used Memory box dies along the side and the Butterfly Tim Holtz die along the top. I used 3 oval type Spellbinders dies to frame Tilda.

This one is whimsy and fun, I chose Webster's Pages and the matching florals inside and out on this card. She is circled in jewels and a spellbinder heart die.

Thanks for coming by my blog to see all my sweet Ballerina's, I really one this image, now I am getting to many favorites!

Blessings, Kelly

Pion in Purple

I made another card today with the adorable Waterlily Tilda and Tilda in Key Largo.
I used Pion Papers and a tag, they are so beautiful that I hate to cover them up.

The girls are colored in Copics

The inside I decorated with Whimsy dies and stamps.

Now I will bore you with my new craft room for the next year or so.....I used my daughters bookcases and desk, my 4 year olds dresser and a lot of my crystal from the kitchen.

Here is my new view, my hubby and I sit here everyday in the morning for coffee and at night after dinner.

The boxes hold the cards I have made for the art crawl and each box is for a occasion.

Here is too many 6x6 paper pads, I love paper, it inspires everything for me.

Here is a crystal creamer and sugar that I have embellies in

My ribbons are in mason jars and the white box is full of pearls and crystals.

My husband doesn't think this is so funny but it fits!

Here are my sentiment stamps and the books have Magnolia stamps in them. I labeled a page and then put the stamps in the pocket from office max and they stay put.

This is my Papertrey Ink shelf. I use their card stock a lot and their  stamp sets are all in CD cases, they come that way.

Here are my Copics, I couldn't find the round cylinders so I added the mason jars for the extra Copics I have.  Smaller mason jars hold buttons and embellies.

The bottom of my corner stand are my clear stamps from Whimsy, Close to My Heart, SU and Our Daily Bread.  I like to keep them close by.

Here is my corner stand with my crystal that was given to my from family members, I use them for my accessories.  Now I can see the beauty and dust them more.

Here is the ugly part, in my closet, I love the bins from Target and they are very useful. I have my punches and wooden stamps on carts so I can pull them out when I need them.
I have a smaller space and less drawers to hide my things but I think I did pretty good and I did not spend any extra $$$money on putting this room together.  I just had to think harder.
