Snow Buddies by Lili of the Valley

Hello Friends!

I am making Christmas cards using Lili of the Valley images, they are so cute!
Here is Snow Buddies

I used Teresa Collins Santa's List designer papers.

Go create Frilly #2 is my base.  The doily die is Cheery Lynn Nautical Wheeler Doily, I cut it up to use on the edges as well for the sentiment.

Snow Buddies is colored with Distressed Inks and glittered on the top and shaved ice on the bottom.

The inside  of the card I put a Magnolia doohickey tag and Memory Box Sussex snowflake die with a round snippet of the paper (season of giving)

Here are 2 of my Buddies

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!
Thank you for stopping by and visiting me.

Naughty or Nice?

I sure hope your tummies are filled and you had a blast with your relatives for Thanksgiving!
Now it is time to Christmas Shop, did anyone start early?  Well if you need any hints, I will take anything!!  Just kidding! lol

Here is a canvas I made myself. I used Prima's papers Holiday Jubilee.

There is a lot of Prima products on this canvas. I love them all!

The prima doll has wings cut out from Tim Holtz Layered Wings die and Tim Holtz ideology tissue wrap.  After I mod podged the wings on I brushed on glitter mod podge and then made some black lines with a pen.

The top has the circles of crystals from Prima's  'Say it with Crystals' and the resin edge.  The left side is  the word Noel with some feathers.  The words came in a pack and since it took me a week to get this completed, I have lost the package and do not know the manufacturer, so sorry.

On the bottom is Tim Holtz packages and boxes die I used with the papers. I colored the edges with pitt pens from Fabercastell.  The rest is from Prima, fairies, mechanical flower crystal circles.

You can see the dimension of the angel wings here.  I also edged with scribbles around the Prima girl and the words.

I hope you are all geared up for Holiday shopping and celebrating the birth of our Saviour!

I am pretty excited with almost my whole family home for Christmas.  My smart son decided to stay in Florida where it is warm! hmmm Maybe we should consider moving Christmas to his place!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

London Tilda

Hello and welcome to my blog!
This past weekend were a few birthdays to celebrate in our family.  One I gave her the gift and forgot a card! No, forget a card! Yep and my sister-in-law has all my previous cards displayed so of course I made her one now, probably won't make that mistake again! lol

London Tilda is colored in distressed inks and I used Shabby White Frantage all around her. I used a quarter sheet of the divine Maja Papers, (they are so pretty) for the shape around Tilda.  The die is Spellbinders Gold Majesty circles.  The card base is white card stock and I used Frilly #12 from Go Create.

Here are 2 Magnolia doohickey tags and a snippet of a Memory Box butterfly.  A cake charm to add to the birthday bliss.

Here is a better view of the Memory Box butterfly.  It is actually a whole butterfly that I cut in half. I mounted the halves in different places.  A prima glittery flower and die cut leaves top off this edge.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I enjoy all your visits!!
I hope you have a fabulous week!

I made a card using traditional Christmas colors.

I colored her in Copic Sketch Markers on Neenah Paper.  I had too much of a blast with Shabby White Frantage.  My papers are also from Wild Rose called Annabelle's Christmas.  I used a Go Kreate die Frilly #2 for the base of my card.

A rose and berries from my stash and the sentiment is from Magnolias newest Collection.

My ribbon is from Stampin Up and a charm finishes off my card.

Thank you for being here today!  I enjoy reading all your comments.  To enter our new Challenge please go to the 7 Kids Challenge Blog here.

Lili Of the Valley James-Christmas Tree

This is a simple Christmas card that I made with Lili of the Valleys James-Christmas Tree.  I watercolored him with Distressed Inks and added Shabby White Frantage to the background.  I had just received my 7 Kids College Fund order and all the dies were in it! OH was I a happy die cutting girl!

Here is my card

I used a Go-Create die for the base and Majestic Opulent Ovals from Spellbinders to frame James the bear.

Can you see the sparkle of glitter glue on the bulbs, star and holly?  It barely shows on the photo but they added some elegance to the card.
On top is my Memory Box die Star Flourish, I really love the whimsy of this die.

On the sides I cut in half the Memory Box Die Sussex Snowflake so that it would show on each side of my image.  Noel is from Lili of the Valley and colored with Distressed Inks.

Here is a side view of my card. I used a sheet from Annabelles Christmas 6x6 pad for a soft touch of color.

I like the simplicity of this card for mailing, cheap!

Thank you for visiting me today and I hope your day is going well!

Prima Optimist

I would like to share a canvas I made using Prima Optimist papers and the Prima doll with Bolero dress.  I love this paper and I purchased all the embellishments I found as soon as I saw it online.  Just couldn't wait!  My very generous friend Cathylynn shared some Prima dolls with me and a perfect canvas was created! Well in my ability anyway! lol

The Prima Optimist paper is a 6x6 pad and I only used 3 pieces of it. The doll was cut from the other patterned papers from the pad.  All the flowers, flairs, tabs and wood pennants are from Prima. Fun!

The tabs look like this and I attached them to white envelopes and adorned it with ribbons and crystals I already had. The envelopes are glued under the paper.

On this side of the canvas I took a mask of a tree and bird and used moulding paste with white paint to make it. I attached the flairs and florals to the three and the 1 plastic heart.

I made this tag from Sizzix TH tag die. I glued it over the paper and filled it with florals, flairs, buttons, heart pearls, and beads.

Here is the bottom of the canvas and the words on the papers are so awesome. The title of the collection 'Optimist' is truly the right description for all the positive words and sayings on these papers.

Here is the tag, the Bloom is part of the papers.

Here is the ribbons I hung with charms off the tag, the end has another tab on it.

The Prima girl is cut from Prima Optimist papers and the main body is from another paper I had.  I painted her hair and shoes.

Here is a better view of the tabs and envelopes

I have a blank wall in my craft room "Shame" so this one is the first to go on it, I have a lot more to make!

I hope you enjoyed my canvas and all the positive words on it. Thank you for all the awesome comments you leave me to, I really enjoy reading them!
Have a great day,
Kelly

My Christmas Magnolia Card

Bonny Tilda is shooting snowflakes waiting for Santa to come!

I cracked my Bonny Tilda!  I applied Glossy Accents 3 times and then put it into the freezer for 20 minutes and cracked the image to show it aged and vintage. Then I rubbed a dark gray ink all over the image to fill in those cracks.

This is a sentiment from Lili of the Valley that I also cracked and wound decorative string around.  My images are colored in Distressed Inks.

My gorgeous rose from Wild Orchid Flowers is sitting on top of La La Land Heart Snowflakes glittered up for sparkle.

Here are more snowflakes from La La Land with Magnolia doohickey heart die and Christmas Story 6x6 pad of Magnolia papers.  Elegant Scrollwork Memory Box die are swirled in too.

The inside of my card showing the Magnolia papers and snowflakes from La La Land.  My writing area is a Spellbinders die.

Thank you for visiting my blog and enjoy the rest of the hop!
Good Luck and be inspired!!

Memory Box Dies

Good Morning to you all!  I have a very easy card that I made using Memory Box Dies that I purchased through 7 Kids College Fund.

Our new Challenge starts today at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog!  Our theme is Anything Goes and you will be eligible for a gift certificate to spend at the 7 Kids College Fund Store if you happen to win!  ALSO on Saturday we are having a special event at the Store Blog.  Yes the store has a blog and newsletter so that you can keep up to date with the specials.  Check it out Saturday morning to see the event our Design Team has planned!

Here is my card for this weeks challenge

This card was very hard to photograph.  The background is silver glitter paper and looks more white in person. I could not capture it at all but it looks great on my shelf!

The top and bottom white dies are from Memory box, I just glued them on the glitter paper and added the deer from my stash! I added a skinny red border on top of white card stock and it was done.  I love how fast it went and the beautiful scene it made so I am ordering the word Peace for my Xmas Cards.  I think peace across this would look awesome too.

Here is the inside, see how cool this die is!  I used the glitter paper for the cottage in the woods die and then put it onto red.  I had the tags and candy cane in my stash for a very long time. lol

Do not forget to check back here on Saturday morning for the special event at 7 Kids College Fund Store!!!!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog,
Have a wonderful day,
Kelly
