Midweek Magnolias Challenge #114 Shaped Card

Hello My friends,
Our home is coming along and is framed up with most of the electrical done. It is so nice to see progress on it. Meanwhile I had a moment to make a card for this challenge so here it is.

My shape is a star and I used a square to open the inside for a message.  Of course I had to add the frills around it to make it girly.

She is colored in Distressed inks and Frantaged in the background.

She is so sweet and I love how the USA Flag billows behind her.

Midweek Magnolias new challenge is Shaped card but not circle or squares. I used my own template but you can use anything or a fancy die.
I hope you join us for Midweek Magnolias Challenge #114 and Good Luck!

Have a great week!

Midweek Magnolias #113 Use a Number

Hello again, 2 days in a row!
I have a card to share with you for Midweek Magnolias Challenge #113 Use a Number!!

I only replaced a few of my crafting supplies like Distressed Inks, a few die cuts, and special papers, boy was it hard to create without the million items I had. lol  I do like the challenge of designing a card with a few things as it brings more of my creativity out and I am so grateful to at least have a moment to make something.

I used Pion papers with Tilda With Heartphone from the World Wide Web Collection as well as the icons, aren't they adorable.

I apologize for not having more photos on here but I have to practice more as I have a new camera and no photo booth, I am primitive here, lol  She was a joy to make.

I hope you make a creation using a Number for the new challenge at Midweek Magnolias so you can win a prize.  I love seeing my friends there too.

Hugs, Kelly

Magnolia-licious Challenge Use a Numeral

Hello my friends, it has been forever but I am back part time crafting, when I am able to.  We are re-building the damaged areas in our house and I am doing all the paper work and decorating, like picking out the cabinets, flooring, lights, all the goodies!  I set up a tiny crafting place in my bedroom to craft, that way I can quit drooling all your creations. lol

Last month I had the pleasure to visit and meet a very respected blogger and my best friend, Karen Gauthier.  She opened her home to me and we had a blast together.  I told her about a new fad Pocket Letter Pals and Diana's group on Facebook Pocket Pen Pals.  We are both addicted, we made a few together and now we are swapping with others.

My Pocket letter has Afternoon Tea Tilda with some Tea Cups all from Magnolia's Little London Collection. I also chose to use Pion papers in each pocket.  The backside is filled with trinkets for the recipient to enjoy.  It folds up into a envelope and just mail it off.

Here are some close ups of a few pockets

This is just 1 sheet of Pion with the accessories

A few die cuts were added too.

My numeral is in the title, Tea 4 two.

Today's Magnolia-licious Challenge is use a Numeral.
Please join us so you can win a awesome prize from Magnolia-licious!

Remember for each comment you leave on a DT gal’s blog (1 comment per blog, per post) you are entered to win the Surprise Prize this week.  Winners are announced each Wednesday…so check back each week to see if you’ve won!

Hope to see you at the challenge and good luck!!
