Boho in Kraft

I adore the new collection from Magnolia Boho Collection as they are so carefree and dressed perfectly for the boho look.  I love to dress that way too but at my age I look a bit silly. lol  This set is very fun as they are unlimited in ideas.

Our new challenge at Magnolia-licious is "USE KRAFT PAPER"  on your creation. I love Kraft paper for its neutral and goes great with Boho!

This photo I took from my phone, sometimes I think it doesn't distort the colors like the camera and it is a richer picture.  Just had to throw it on for a contrast.

Hippe Tilda is so darling with her macrame bag, remember those! Remember the macrame hanging plant holders we all made, haha
I also bordered her with the Bohemian Lace and Love stamp and then embossed it with Frontage, Marine and distressed the outside also.

I purchased a few crocheted flowers from Etsy and this one worked perfectly with the theme.  I also stamped and embossed the envelopes with the Lace stamp

Boho embellishing above and below is the card using my camera.  Sometimes I think the little details disappear when I use the camera?

I sure hope you join us at Magnolia-licious challenge Use Kraft so you can get a chance to win the prize from Diana.
Don't for get to check out the other designers, they have gorgeous creations to show you and leave a comment for another chance to win!

Have a great day!

Christmas is Coming at Midweek Magnolias

We are having a a new challenge at Midweek Magnolias CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!
This is my first Christmas card of the season, so many more to make.

This sweetie is "Dancing with Stars Tilda" and was masked with "Silent Night" background music. Then after adding distressed ink to the background I frantaged it in shabby Ivory.

Above is the stocking doohickey die from the #2 Kit and a heart tag from #5 Kit.

I used a doily die, doily and poinsettia doohickey die from #2 Kit on this corner.

Tilda is colored in distressed inks and then frantaged around her. The present die is from the #5 kit.

In the corner I used one of my chipboards pieces and florals.  I love chipboard and so grateful for the friends that sent it to me!

Please join us at Midweek Magnolias Christmas is coming challenge so you can get ahead on your cards.
Hugs and blessings,
Kelly

Challenges

Here are some photos of my home and the first one is not pretty.  Here is the original dining room where the fire started.  We converted it to our living room and put a wall up to the left to separate it into the craft/laundry room.  Then we moved the kitchen to the original living room.  Easy to do and only one wall needed to be built to change the floor plan.

this is the right side entering into the newly created living room.  We wanted more of a sitting area for my hubby and I to relax in.  The kids family room is downstairs so they can enjoy their friends.

The left side and the new wall we built to separate two areas.

Looking from the living room to our new kitchen.  The circle opening was a idea from my husband, he has a bit of artistic ability. lol

Thank you for stopping by and commenting, they are very appreciated.  I sure hope to see you at  Midweek Magnolias!

Magnolia-licious Add Roses

Hello and welcome!

Magnolia licious Challenge is ADD Roses which is always a beautiful accessory to any card.  My card has minimal roses but they are also in the paper and embellishment too so you can add them in different ways.

I am using Stop In The name of Love from the Lovely Duo Collection, you get a Tilda image and a sentiment together.

Here are my lovely roses and a close up of Tilda colored in Distressed Inks.

I hope you create something for our challenge using roses and you could be the lucky winner of a special prize from Diana.

Here is a peak at 1 room in my home that is finished and it used to be my craft room.  We tore open a bedroom for a formal dining area and now we get a huge amount of light from the big window as well as a open concept main floor.

I love the simplicity of this room and the peaceful colors.

My wall art is from a local store called Weathered Vane, love this store too much$$
The table is Amish and the lighting is from Pottery Barn.

I opted for a bit formal drape because I could not have the barn doors I wanted here, not enough room.  The are faux silk and keep the morning heat out.

This was closed off and a bedroom before where I had just finished my craft room and now it is a gathering place for our family to have memorable conversations.

Here is the room before the fire and above is the room after the fire.

Thank you for stopping by today and Please join us at Magnolia vicious Challenge  ADD ROSES.

Blessings to you
Kelly

Anything Goes at Midweek Magnolias

This is my second post for today so please scroll down for my other creation for Magnolia-licious, thank you.  At Midweek Magnolias we have a new challenge Anything Goes!  I love it when I can make anything Magnolia and let the creative juices go.

I made this card on the back of a envelope and left the ribbon longer if you would want to hang it somewhere.  Like in my new craft room, lol  I don't have anything for you yet but I am getting closer to putting all of our things away properly.

Tilda is chilling with her furry friend on a swing, my hubby and I have a swing we relax with and get a lot of talking done. Those are the moments we have to steal when we can. lol

I tried to make the back just as pretty as the front. Inside the envelope you can put anything you want for a surprise.

My image is colored in Distressed inks and the roses on the tree limb above I cut out from the paper I used.  I have so many layers that you cannot see the paper anymore. I so enjoyed coloring and making my card for Midweek Magnolias and I hope you join the challenge too, so fun to share our artwork with each other!

Have a great day!!

"W" Wednesday at Magnolia-Licious

Here I am moved into our home and made my first card in my new craft room, life is good!
We have a few things to finish like 2 bathrooms and Kitchen countertops.  Being my husband is a plumber it seems the plumbing is last to be completed. lol  We have some smaller things to finish and re-do and still unpacking and waiting for hubby to build shelves to put things on.  I am so anxious to share photos of our home with you but patience is needed until it is complete.
I must say a huge thank you to my crafting friends, huge hugs!!
This is what my family felt, your prayers and support during this difficult time, also the generous giving of craft supplies to me so I can pick up and craft.  Of course I added to it as things came on sale but overall as I put the supplies away, you are the ones that filled my craft room.  You also filled my life with hope and joy,  thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

"W" Wednesday card

I love this bunny so much from Crafters Companion which is available here at the Magnolia-liciious store.  You can purchase the entire set at the Magnolia-licious store for a discounted price.

I colored BeBunni in Distressed Inks, playing with some of the new colors.  I also found a perfect combination of paper and brushes for water coloring, it is like silk, they just flow together.  The Langton watercolor papers found here and the brush is Escoda Reserva series found here.

My papers are Maja Summer Crush and I used Spellbinders Imperial Square die for the outline.  My embellishments are from you my crafty friends, thank you so much!

Please join our newest challenge at Magnolia-liciious Add Roses. The more you comment on the designer blogs, the better your chances are to win a prize from Diana. Pretty easy.

Thank you for stopping by today and for sticking with me this year.  I hope to have some photos soon for you of our new/old home.
Hugs Kelly
