Sweets Pocket Letter Up For Grabs

I found this scrumptious paper and had to make a Pocket Letter with it. The colors are perfect with our new Challenge at Magnolia-licious.

GREEN GOLD PINK
YOUR CARD CAN HAVE ANY OR ALL OF THESE PROMINENT COLORS

I put a sticker on Tildas chalkboard from the paper embellishment, this image is so versatile and she is cute!  Each  pocket has embellishments behind it and this PL is up for grabs.  The FIRST PERSON WHO LEAVES ME A COMMENT SAYING "I WANT IT"  will receive this pocket letter in their mailbox.

Here is sweet Chalkboard Tilda colored in Copics

Magnolia-licious is offering a $20.00 gift certificate in a random drawing for the challenge so I hope you join us and enter your Magnolia creation. Please visit the Magnolia-licious Challenge for the rules and to see what my team mates made, I love their creativity.

All Because I Love You

Hello my friends,
I am taking a break after trying to do my taxes with Quickbooks online, that way I won't loose it in a fire, hahaha.  One year ago was our fire and looking back I think we did pretty well.  I always think a tragedy big or small changes people and it is our choice to make it a positive change.

For a while now I have been yearning to make home decor pieces instead of purchasing them, because I had all this Prima stuff that was calling my name I made this canvas.

This is a 12x12 artists canvas from Micheals and after gesso I used Finnabairs honeycomb stencil and  3D Gloss Gel by Finnabair to make the background texture.  After it dried I painted on Dusty Attics paints in Mountain Meadow and Chocolate.  Then I mixed Soft Gloss Gel with Mica powders and Artisian Powder from Prima, copper, deep water, pale silver,  and LaChapeleier, (which is on pre-order) and to top it all off I swirled Dusty Attics Crackle medium all over the top of the canvas.  Quickly I dropped Prima Copper Microbeads and Turquoise Glass Beads onto the wet background and let it all dry.

I chose 3 Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces, a thin wood board with a floral pattern in it from a friend and gessoed them all.  Then I lightly coated them with the Prima Mica powders until I was happy and then lightly brushed on Golden Cadium Red Medium Hue mixed with Copper Mica powder to created a rustic red color.
The heart is a clear acrylic piece with gold writing that someone had given me so I cut around it and super glue gelled it on and then put the pale silver Mica powder around it.

The chipboard arrow is glued to a rustic metal piece that I have had a while. Also are some new  metal products I purchased from Prima Finnabair Mechanicals that are all around the canvas. They had a store at Prima so I was able to get most of the new CHA 2016 things I wanted there.  Once in a lifetime indulgence. lol

Here it is sitting on my metal easel in my kitchen. My hubby just installed this metallic coppery backsplash and so of course I had to make something to compliment it.

Thank you for stopping in and I hope all those links help you find products.  I am not affiliated with any store but these are the ones that carried all the products I used for my canvas.

Midweek Magnolias Challenge Valentine/Love

Hello my friends!  I have another card to share for the Midweek Magnolias Challenge
VALENTINE/LOVE
My image is from the new collection A Touch of Love called Cloudy Love.

The front is a frame and I inserted a chipboard die in the middle to suspend Cloudy Love Tilda.   You can see through the frame to the inside paper.  On the outside of the frame I put the flowers and chipboard embellishing.

Tilda is colored in Copics and I used a accessory stamp from this collection to Frontage mini flowers on the cloud. I like the effect and makes it more fluffy.
Here is the card open, you can see the openness of the front and the pretty heart inside.

Please take a look at my teammates creations at Midweek Magnolias they are amazing.  Thank you for stopping by today and join us to enter a creation to win a prize.
Have a great day,
Kelly
